Hey guys, im currently running 3 bots atm and its making my graphics card fan work hard and was wondering how to make wow use the cpu graphics instead of the gfx card graphics? i have a nvidia gtx 970 , ive heard u can do it in the nvidia settings but i still cant find it :D

Running 3 bots is making your top of the line card run hot........

Here's a thought; reduce your graphics settings, and set an fps cap.

What's a guy like you doing with hardware like that anyway?

Just take out your 970, also if 3 bots on your 970 makes it run hot then maybe not max out the settings? I currently run 10 Bots on my GTX 970 system and currently sitting at the lowest fan speed with zero problems in temps running around 50C.

All you need to do is optimize your HB & WoW, to do this im gonna help with WoW the rest you can figure out yourself but google WoW lower then low.

go to Device Manager and disable GPU adapter

actually it doesnt really make it hot (wow is already on lower than low settings) , i just wanted wow to use the default intel graphics when im botting since im not actually playing and just my gpu when im playing wow myself or other games? wouldnt that be the smart thing to do?

If the GPU fan is kicking in, and you don't want the noise... Well, you could turn down the rendering quality of the game client.

But you can also use a custom fan speed application and underclock the GPU, and adjust the thermal profile of the fan, so that the noise isn't as high. MSI afterburner can be used on most GPU's.

How To: Adjust your Fan-Curve in MSI Afterburner
A link to cover how and what to add in a custom fan curve profile.

You will need the app to run in the background to adjust the fan response to higher temperatures. It also acts as a temperature monitor for the video card GPU and case temps.

well if you'r CPU is from intel just take out you'r grapics card and put you'r monitor into the motherboard and you'r done

but it's better to lower the fan speed
if you'r GPU is getting to hot underclock it when you know how

He coul´d run wow in background, while botting. Or just max one Session (window/fullscreen). Three sessions is easy doable. Anyway. WoW is CPU heavy not GPU. I don´t think its a good idea to put extra load on CPU as HB is CPU heavy as well.

Have an AMD 290 OC with three 80mm Fans and manually set the fans to 25%. The card heats up to 85 Celsius while running Ultra, but thats not off limits, so it´s ok for me. CPU is limited to 4,5 GHz, fast enough and cooling system can handle this.
(5 Sessions, but normal Graphic Quality is set to medium, don´t need the quality while botting dungeons eh? but forgotten to go down from Ultra sometimes so I know its ok with Ultra, but feel better with medium)
