Hey all, I recently joined the honorbuddy community, and while I am pretty useless for coding, I thought I would try and give back to the community by sharing a trick of the trade for making easy gold from your farming.
Requirements:
1.GB/PB whatever your preference - you will be farming elementium ore
2.Mining - 525
3.Jewelcrafting - 525
4.Second Character - Enchanting - 500+
Step 1
Farm massive amounts of elementium, and prospect the ore using jewelcrafting.
Step 2 Of course you will get all the usual variety of blue/green gems, most of which are worth next to nothing these days. What is done afterwards is how you make the real money:
-Convert carnelian into carnelian spikes
-Convert hessonite into rings
-Keep nightstone/jasper for your JC dailies
-Feed alicite to the dogs
-/cheer for every inferno ruby(bankk)
-Wisely purchase JC recipes to suit the highest demand on your server for each blue gem, and cut them for max profit.
Step 3
-Mail all carnelian spikes/hessonite rings to your Enchanter.
-Put the blue rings to the side, as they sell for decent prices on the AH and should not be disenchanted.
Step 4
Disenchant all spikes/rings.
-The spikes give up to FOUR greater planar essences, on my server these sell for up to 100g a piece.
-The rings give a high number of dust, or planar essences.
Step 5
Lastly, use the mats found to create popular enchants on your servers. Enchant Chest - Mighty Resilience is a really good way of getting rid of your dust, which may seem to accumulate if you just place them as-is on the AH.
In economics, this entire process is what is known as ADDED VALUE, and for very little extra work you will make 4-5times the profit you would from selling ore/bars alone.
