How to make a profile?

Not familiar with creating profiles with HB. Can someone direct me to any posts that give me the basics on creating a standard profile.
Like recording WP and other good stuff like that.

I would like to start creating some pretty sexy profiles, just need to know where to start.

What profile you want to create? Quest, grind, gatherbuddy...

All of them, i just need to know the basics and i can go from there. How to jump from one profile to another would be great aswell.

go to where it says starter profile for quest or grinding or farming


helped me starting out with simple stuff, else just go look at other profiles how to make them.. kicks profiles are good exambles on working profiles

Aside from useless info and comments. Is there a WP recorder or something i need to have to record the WP?

no if you open up your HB there is a tab called "Developer Tools" if you go there you can find the hotspot on where you are now, make black spots, copy the quests pickup objective and turnin lines, and you can copy the target NPC info such as ID faction location ect ect.

So is there like a rule of how often i should record a blackspots?

no... blackspots are only for spots where characters are very likely to get stuck... so if you test your profile and see your char gets stuck alot the same place over n over... u just add a blackspot there and it will go around it depending on the radius u mad the spot

Ok so as i am flying along, every so often i hit refresh on local player info and just copy and paste that? That will give me a Hotspot correct?

yes u hit the refresh on local player info and you can double click on the position then u can copy it from the log in HB window... then u can add it in your grinding profile.

Ok got it thanks for the help <3 im used to using WP recorders and such. Just a change i have to get used to and play around with it a bit.

depends wich profile your makeing, you can also use the zap profile maker if you search the forums it can record the route of wich u want it to fly

normaly used for the GB2 profiles i guess but its very helpfull
