Currently running 3 bots 24/7 on 8 gigs of ram (2 x 4gb)
i5 2500k OC 4.1ghz
WD Caviar Black 64 mb cache
My cpu fan is a bit chunky and blocks off 2 ram slots and don't have time to grab 2 x 8 gb ram yet, right now the usage is up to almost 88%, and I use this computer to work on as well so it starts to spike (lag?) when I try to open other intensive programs like accounting software etc. My question is: Is there any easy methods to reduce ram usage? I plan on getting 2 x 8gb soon but for now I would like to see if there is any quick fix for this.
Also, since I bot 24/7 would this somehow deteriorate the hardware due to the constant exposure to heat of 36 - 45 degree Celsius?
