How to loot and salvage properly?

Hi, can anyone teach me how to loot all items, and salvage every white, blue, rare but keeping legendary item?

Maybe this question is noob, kindly pardon.

Open your trinity and configure like in the SS. Make sure use the last one (1.8.2) with DB Beta.
