It's a big downside that it takes much longer with battle pets to level up.
How is it with kick's profiles now? Is there still many bugs that will make me look like a bot in game? I mean clicking the same npc for hours if I won't do anything? What is necessary for full afk questing? Is it worthy taking a risk?
cava generally doesn't get stuck like this, and with the battle pet XP in tow, you can skip ahead a little bit as it's level dependent.
i dislike cava's indiscriminate sale of all bag contents, as it has tried to sell heirloom items before, and soulbound items i'd rather keep or evaluate later, but this feature has improved since the early days of cava. i've not noticed it in some time.
pet battle xp = mob kill xp,
but where a kill takes 20-30 seconds, a battle takes 120-180 seconds.
using ringers makes the process quicker, usually 8 to 10 rounds, but it is laid back, and you can supervise the action. or lack of action.
the upside is that pet battles don't look bottish. everyone looks like an idiot chasing down butterflies and moths (set a 28/30 yard engage radius), and there's lots and lots of AFK standing around as it appears to others. even if now you can see the battle in progress.
generally,
what happens is, questing will mount up, head down a road to an objective, then PB will take a detour, dismount and walk to a pet, engage, then mount up again, repeat. when you're supposed to escort an NPC, it basically starts and detours again, leaving the NPC to struggle or die. if there's no pets nearby, it will not dismount, it will just quest.
as for the questing bot getting glitchy when quests are unavailable, or the flight master fetish, where the bot is always trying to touch flight points, every time, that's still there.
sometimes, you just need to start and stop the bot remotely, which the monitor plugins can do. occasionally you'll get a profile which wants you to fly to a major city and back for no reason other than the bot thinks you're starting in a new area, but those zone changes are limited to a handful of profiles. it's not as bad as the continent crossing for horde, that can still go wrong, but i still make it a habit to regularly AFK in akward positions when playing by hand. if you use a manager or relogger to take small breaks and sell items, you can AFK run multiple alts.
