How to get rid of another bot user?

Okay this seems to be a huge problem, there is a bot on my realm and it looks like he is botting 24/7 as he posts 50+ stacks per day on his 1 character.

If they went at normal price I would be fine but he is putting the price so low he is crashing the market for herbs. (every herb)

What is the best and safest (for me) way to get rid of him completely?
 
Keep buying it all and repost at sensible prices. It must take him some time to restock.
 
He is crashing the market meaning me and fellow botters are losing massive amounts of gold because of him. Every other botter knows to keep it around the same price but he is undercutting by like 5-20% each time.

If he kept it at the same price I would simply wait till his sold, but right now it is just getting ridiculous 54 stacks 30% cheaper than avg (the next up is 101%)

I know his bank character but not his bot character.

Also d3 you do not understand me, I do not want to get rid of him cause he bots, I want to get rid of him cause he bots and undercuts by massive amounts!

While that is entirely possible and a good answer by the time it has all sold out he has got all of his stock back, meaning I would have too much to sell compared to the speed he gathers at. It would mean me losing thousands of gold.
 
Then he wins. Doesn't seem like hes greedy so you gotta cut your losses or step up and make less i guess. Aint this America?

The way I see it you only got 1 choice , bot more and undercut him . To report him would just be stupid . Just cos he is undercutting you is just lol . Undercut him

If he's crushing the market on 'every herb', mine ore. But... before you give up herbing, do a little more research. Have you just checked out Cata herbs or have you also looked at Wrath and BC or even old world? Chances are he's flooding Cata but leaving Wrath wide open or something like that. If he's truly taken down every herb, then it's time to do something else, like mining...
 
Mining is dirt cheap on my realm >.< so waste of time there
Will check other herbs
but cata herbs were great due to most of my realm are hardcore PVE so used herbs for flasks all the time!

Past few days have been slow, got JC, Herb and Alch all max'd thinking of a 4th prof for gold making (Dropped mining due to the fact it is not a great gold maker on my realm)
 
How about 'service sector'? Aka, farm all your own herbs, make DM cards. Or mine your own ore, prospect all for JC? How is the Fortune Card market, or the enchant mat market you could sell by ore -> JC -> DC to mats? Don't just look at the nearly empty glass - find alternatives. Many botters don't think outside the box - farm herb, sell herb is not the only way to make gold... ;)

Never report another botter because you are greedy. He is botting, you are botting. Sure you could report him, but what goes around comes around.
 
I was reading this post thinking it was me until you said EU, if this person is botting and putting up that many stacks a day on ah I'm sure he will be gone at the pace he is going.
 
Hopefully he will stop it soon, but as I said it isn't because I am being greedy or anything it is the fact he is ruining the market for everybody :/
He has been there for ages and I have never had a problem but recently he seems to be botting more and undercutting by massive amounts not just 1c or 1s etc

I must do one thing though and thank Altoids he seems to be the only one who gave me good advice as of ways to get around him, for now I have had to sell half my stock cheap and put the rest into my alch, will level inscription tonight and start with darkmoon cards and fortune cards ^^
 
It sucks, but you either cut your losses or find another way to make gold.

Maybe Milling herbs... selling ink, glyphs and Darkmoon cards?

You could even buy his stupidly cheap herbs and do that, too. Make 300% of what you spend, depending on your server's economy.

On the other hand, if other people are doing that because herbs are so cheap, then that market could be flooded as well.

But... there's a million ways to make a TON of gold with HB/GB, and selling herbs isn't the best way, by far, (again, depending on the server).
 
people like him will be banned and he deserves to be banned if he's going to do stupid shit like that

closing this before it gets out of hand.

Here are your options:
Take it like a man
Report him and be a snitch
server transfer or sell acct and make a bot on a diff server
confront him and tell him to stop being a retard
