How to fix Demonbuddy Beta.rar with Antivirus / BitDefender 2015

Hey!

Wanted to post a thread for some of the buddy`s on Bitdefender.

Bitdefender is a joke when it comes to Demonbuddy. Deletes the .exe file even right after download.

Soo.. here is tip of what you can do

-Remove Bitdefender on ur computer
-Restart ur computer
-Download and extract demonbuddy Beta on ur desktop in a folder.
-install BitDefender
-Go Straight to Protection
-Click antivirus
-Click exclusion
-Check marker under to edit on right side
-Click excluded files and folders.
-Add Both
-Browse your Demonbuddy.exe file and add it to ur list. (recomand that you Add both Demonbuddy folder and Demonbuddy.exe to this list.

-Go back and enter Firewall. (this will make demonbuddy to update and be used.) NOTE! This u have to add everytime ur demonbuddy updates to new version on firewall. But its 2 clicks. ;D
-Go to Rules
-Add Rule
-Browse your Demonbuddy.exe file and make sure they stand on any and check trusted and home/office. Permission allow

What will happen now? The antivirus might delete the demonbuddy.exe file. But now, u can use the demonbuddy.exe file. its in ur register of the antivirus. I strongly recomand that you dont update bitdefender and do a scan before u have done all this.
Restart your computer after the update and installation on Bitdefender, and run your buddy tool :)


Hope this step by step guide help you guys. There are other ways to. But this was my way to by pass.

Why do you have to reinstall bitdefender?
Just disable scan for 5-10 minutes -> unpack -> add folder into exception rules -> Give DB permission in firewall

Worked fine for me like that.
 
As i said, many ways to do it. The reinstall was somthing i had to do. i did what u did. but still had problems after
 
Switch to 360safe.com

It has bitdefender engine built in and is not conflicting with db

No there is one way to do it, and not the way you did it, You have over complicated something that is really easy that is just going to confuse any one having issues with BD..
 
Futhermore, Deamonbuddy Beta.RAR is not the official file name

it will always say "DemonbuddyBETA X.X.XXXX.XXX.zip" example "DemonbuddyBETA 1.1.2077.471.zip"


If you or anyone has downloaded a file called Deamonbuddy Beta.RAR it probably dose contain a virus because it didn't come from official site.
