I'm creating this thread as a repository of all the stupid shit you all have noticed people doing that just screams.... BAN ME!!! PLEASE... FOR THE LOVE OF GAAAWD SOMEBODY BAN MEEEE!! Be it botters, hackers, gold sellers, or just your run of the mill perma-noob. I want to hear em all.

Today some mentally overtaxed individual thought it would be a good idea to post a couple of azure whelplings on the AH for 750g ea.... and by a couple I mean 20. No shit... 20. In my own brief moment of stupidity I actually went and verified that the drop rate had not changed... simply because I could not fathom anyone being that careless. But.. it hasn't and they were, or perhaps it's a bold hacker. In either case, it is certainly stupidity worthy of a good flaming.

Oh and the other thing is stupid people listing pages and pages of stacks of Titanium Ore, I am talking about amounts they would probably take weeks to farm without teleport hacks.

hell ive even had a friend who was /Y in orgrimmar yelling that he was a bot and that he still didnt get banned. nothing happened to him after 4 weeks

imo yes... i've been botting for 3 years, and i only post a max of 15 stacks of something at once.
if they get bought out, i put again 10-15 stacks.

Depends on the market and how fast you sell em.

If half of them sell within the first 3 hours, you're fine.
If it takes more than 12 hours to sell half of them, you should reduce the amount a bit.

My max is usually around 15-20 stacks for ores/herbs , the number decrease depending on the material itself and how rare it is

Two weeks ago i was unloading all my Netherweave Cloth that i had in my bags / bank and mailbox.
almost 2k. I Used the auctioner plugin so it always undercut by 10 silver every price. And it made us lazy on AH.

So i was having little time, i went to computer loged in, bring my toon to AH and unloaded 10 stacks of NC. Get awaya and a hour latter i got back forgot i did it (because i was overloaded with it) and post another 10 stacks, then i tough to post 20 as i have too much, posted 10 more.
went to bot @ night and i decided to unload 40 stacks to AH. when i was posting i noticed i had already post a lot. DUH, but it was all sold out in a night (70 stacks).

I tought i was going to be reported, but two weeks latter and i?m still standing. Off course, i have my bank loaded with NC again and i?m making toons and mailing then what i can?t hold. But will cool down NC market before posting again.

Yeah, I'm seeing this more and more lately. It's especially bad when they repost another 50 stacks every time you post something, and half the time they're directly undercutting only themselves.

i for one found that on my realm lichbloom is always sold out same with goldcleeve (correct spelling?) on another only a few auctions with high prices resulting in my posting high too cause i use ah addon to just undercut lol always gets me ^^

The problem with posting "too many" (subjective) stacks of an item is that you may end up with your competitors reporting you. If that happens it could be followed up with a temp ban for economy exploitation.

My personal, randomly plucked from the air number of stacks to sell at once is 6. Even items that do stack but I choose to sell in singles or stacks of 2 etc I list a max of 6 stacks at once.

Regarding rare items like the Whelps above I'd have limited those to single listings as even listing 2 at the same time is a bit suspicious.

Depends on the server.. but i see nothing wrong with anything under 20

My limit is 25 stacks of a item at a time.. never had a problem.. norm try to keep it at around 20
