How to deal with stalkers...

So I have this one guy on my server who just a couple of days ago has been literaly following my bots trying to catch me afk just to report me. Hes always talking to me saying how all my toons look like bots (movement mostly) etc. He already reported 2 of my accounts when I was afk and started talking in the zone channel about how my guys were bots and for everyone to report them. Now after I changed guilds, and changed my two guys names (the ones he reported) hes coming after me again. Seriously this guy has no life whatsoever from the looks of it. I cant even leave my bots running or else he'll just whisper them and then try and find me just to report them =/

Oh how I wish I could get him banned.

BTW running 4 bots all in different zone with sound notification when I get whispers.

Pay for a name change. Pay for a faction change. Pay for a Server Transfer. Report him for harassment. Ignore him.

Those are the options that I can think of right now.

It's likely that if you change the names and use the same profiles that he'll just find you again. I would clearly tell him to stop harassing you and if he doesn't you'll report him for it. Then see if he continues, if he does open a ticket and report him.

Regardless of what you are doing harassment is against the rules. The bot is probably going to be out of commission for a while, but what else are you going to do?

Ive already told him that Id report him but Ive held off. Hes been doing it to two of my guys..do u think I should report with both of them or is that a little to suspicious? Ive taken all but 1 of my bots off line for now since hes a real pest. Doesn't look like he goes to school or has a job either lol

The reason I haven't reported him yet is because at most he'll get what like a 72hour suspension and then when he gets back he'll just try even harder.

all you have to do is report him for harassment and ignore him ... if he keeps talking shit, blizz will ban him. and if he gets suspended and does it again, report him again i had someone that was harassing my aunt, i reported him on all of my bot accts and i finally got a real GM and they escalated it. b/c not only did he try on his 2 accts, he also went as far as to find her on facebook and harass her. i told her to file charges w/ the police.

Haha I had one guy following me around in the low levels asking me how I could move like that. He kept trying for like 3 levels

two days ago i found also someone following my char. as i watched i saw him healing my char with bandages, and i found it weird since i was levling a shaman. i started talking and playing dumb, and i found out that he as been following for a long time and knew i was bot but didnt wanted me to die cause he was skinning the mobs i was killing...

there are still nice ppl out there. those you report here deserve to be reported for harassment and immediatly ignored.

When wow first came out... i didnt start play right away, but, i had friends on same guild (other game) that were playing and they all reported a dude trash talking in barrens chat, beeing really racist, all 37 of em reported him, never heard from him again lol.

haha, I did the exact same thing before. A warrior was Botting in the barrens, and I just ran with him on my Shaman healing him and skinning.

back when i was on a pvp server w/ my priest ... i would /wave at hordies, /wait, MC them and give them stamina buffs =) the /bow and leave

They can't report you for ignoring them. Rethinking it, I would just block him and just keep botting. He'll report you, nothing will happen, and he'll give up or he'll waste more of his time.

Dont bother with name change if he knows your race and class and his list is small, its still obvious who you are , you would still be on his list just with a diff name, if he had any sense at all he would be able work out who you are.

There was 3 shamans raffing on my realm, they were the same level as i was and i kept tagging all the mobs before they started to spam their spells.. dunno if he/she is reading this but thanks for the boost!

Have you guys bothered looking in trade or general / zone chat lately?

People talk about bots ALOT! NOW! Way way way way way way way way way way way way way ..( Keep saying way ) more then they ever did!
The casual player now knows what a bot is, there are blue posts about bots.

Wether or not this will bring change , who knows.

If the people following you around are not other botters, then they have every right to report you, real players bust there asses for those mats and we take it for granted.

If its another botter, well that another story.

I dont like to bring this thread back however Im not sure what to do.. this guy has gone ahead and told everyone in trade chat lol. I'm contemplating just ignoring him and his guildmates and just farming away however I know I'll almost certainly get banned. Do u guys think I should just sell the accounts / start new dk's on those accounts? BTW Ive already reported him on my bot accounts but hes in a fairly decent raiding guild and the likelihood of them doing anything is slim to none...
