How to create a professionbuddy profile?

I tried searching and looking through the guides section, and I can't find one.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to create a professionbuddy profile, in which I can make the bot, run to a certain coordinate, drop a trap, and get into combat with multiple enemies. I would like to create something use multi shot 90% of the time when targeting a mob and that can not single target 1 mob within a group of 15, then run out, and target another.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can look to learn how to create this on my own?

Hope to hear from someone like Kick!

PB levels/uses anything profession related. It does not do CC specific stuff like what you request. It seems you seek a simple grinding profile working in an area with big packs of mobs which require aoe? In that case you need to find a custom class which is good at aoe'ing. I'm not much into the current hunter ccs, but have a look around there, and then what you need is a grinding profile not a PB profile.

@ Inrego - Thanks for the reply, do you know of any good Warlock CC's that do seed of corruption type of spells to enter combat? I have a friend who said when he's farming, he just uses seed of corruption on 3 mobs per group of troggs in deepholm, and it kills the whole group. I'm more inclined to farm with my Warlock because of that.

But I'm wondering if a simple grinding profile will target 1 mob, cast SoC, then tab target to a different mob, and SoC that target as well, then wait for it to kill everything. From my experience with the deepholm profiles, one is a questing profile and one is a grind profile, and both of those just cast on 1 target until it's dead, then it moves to the next pack of mobs. Which is clearly visible as a bot, and also a major waste of Potion of Treasure Finding..

I modified a plugin to farm lovely charms in the instance in vashj'ir for a couple of different CC's. It's not something that would take me long to modify to fit what you need. But atm i'm busy on my vacation relaxing :). I'd suggest you search the grinding profile sub forum for a profile farming the area you need. If it doesn't exist, request one in the "Request" section. If you're lucky someone will make you one.

this is the plugin i modified. When ill see into if i got time to edit it, it should be really easy. Then you need to DL the "do-nothing-customclass" :

How fast will the mobs die? What you will achieve is some profile/plugin that spams SoC on each target untill they're all dead. It will though, not move once combat is engaged. So you need to find out if your character can handle the beating.

I do have a couple profiles for deepholm that I like to use, and both my hunter and warlock can take the beating for sure. When are you going to be done your lovely vacation? lol

I'll be home in the coming weekend. Just out of curiosity, what will you be farming?

I'll probably only be using this to farm Embersilk in Deepholm. I know the troggs there are all in bunches of 8-10+ attacking NPC's and just running the regular CC makes my character kill 1 out of the group, then loot it and run away until it's out of combat again. Which is pointless for using treasure finding potion which is a nice addition to farming.

I'd definitely rather use my warlock for farming because it is a tailor and gathers extra cloth.
