How to come clean to your Guild that you bot (in case suspicious)

Hey i was wondering how could you come clean to your guild or your friends that you bot? because Im getting eatin inside by the guilt i feel that i bot and I dont wanna come clean and say i do like some of all of you do. liek sometimes you say "Oh my guild knows i bot and they dont care" well what if i dont know if they Care and then they Kick me from guild and report me could that happen? well can someone maybe explain to me How to literally say in guild chat "I bot do you care or dont you" because i sorta dont have the guts to say that what should i say?
 
speak w/ ur guildmaster and let them know, they will either like you in the guild (donations, etc) or not like you in the guild

if they want you in the guild, have the GM have a meeting w/ their officers so that they know the deal and it's all good

My guild likes me botting... i donate money for guild tabs, fish, herbs, gems, etc...
 
talk to the people that you know real well and tell them what you do... but do not for the love of god say in gchat that you bot... because there will always be someone who will rat your ass out if they do not get there way...( new guild member/drama momma or w/e)

My guild asked me to take the toon I play/bot with out of guild. I was upfront with them and they were cool. Since then I have gotten other accounts to do this with.
 
What if my guild master is an Idiot and says "Dont know what a bot is or a chinese goldfarmer" he literally just said that to me when i explained it to him
 
I've been botting for years. If I miss tells and guild chat I just say my chat was on combat log or I say I was afk and was glitched so I stayed online (actually use to happen all the time to my brother).

I've been demoted once for not responding cause guild master was afraid I was hacked :P but besides that it's never been a problem, even though I bot all night long all the time.
 
I came clean with the GM and got removed from the guild. Keep in mind I didnt really care one way or the other. Now I have my own guild for the bots (bank space) and don't bot with the one char I have on a guild (Except those damn FL dailys!).
 
When I first started playinbg WOW, during BC, I was in a Guild with RL friends. The guild leaders were RL friends with my best friend, they were neighbors. The guild leader found out I botted and knew what bot I used. Maybe cuz the only one worth a shit was Glider back then. He said he followed me in some zone for 3 nights in a row and saw me farming leather. I donated shit to the guild all the time. He kicked me from the guild and said he was gonna report me. Don't know if he ever did.

This! Its because of me that my guild is able to bust ass in raid progression. and I sell gold to a few guildies. its actually hard to keep up with their demands. but at $3-5/K (depending on person) I'm willing to keep up!
 
It's COMPLETELY a situation thing though dont think that because some people are ok with that most will be. Honestly the past few guilds ive been in havnt minded because ive been on vent when things like 'anyone know the best place to buy gold from' etc is thrown around 'they say it jest but 99.99% of the time they actually want to know. When things like that are thrown around i'll pull the person aside and have a chat to em best way to sell gold etc. Same thing with botting if ur officers and gm are always FUCKING bots this and that i wouldnt bother.
 
I dont join a big guild and let all the "rewards" be. Botting and everything that comes with it is a far better reward for me. So I started my own guild and dont invite anyone i dont know in real life. The guys I know in real life are colleagues / friends and know i bot and don't report or even care and never talk about it ingame.

I use hidden language with them ingame, if any at all. So do they.

My guild have been cool with it.
I donated herbs and minerals / sold them to the guild for extremely low prices.
 
In my time botting, it always seems as older mature GM's give a hoot, as long as you supply the bank with something and donate.. You get some puck ass 14 year old GM that talks like a girl, he will more than likely spam trade and report you. I told my old GM I bot of 2 accounts, he was like hell yeh, fill that bank up! Sadly when I /gquit and took my main out of the guild he got a little buttsore, but they all promised not to say shit, and have yet. So be real about it, don't make guild member pay for mats, don't flood AH and you'll be good.
 
I've never told my guild i bot.... I never found a need in it.
Than again, I don't PvE anymore so I'm always in a level 25 casual guild.
 
who cares dont tell any1 they dont need to know i just spent 5 hours in instances afk and just read the comments seems my bot was ok not top of the dps but iom using wrong cc atm testing them out till i find 1 that works better
 
Buy another account and bot on that instead. I would never be in a guild and tell them I was boting.
