How to adjust Archon beam distance

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but;

I'm looking for someone who knows how to ensure archon wiz beams at atleast 50 meters from elites.

Anyone have any ideas?

Doesn't both archon routines do this? Or well, i think they are set at 40 yards
