Here is my current setup. I have 4 accounts. One guild I own on my main account. This is the account I actually play on. For my other three accounts I have one druid, a pally, and a hunter. All three are mining/herbing. I have bothaven manager and I run the bots 2 hours farming 2 hours AH and 2 hours idle 24/7. After farming they mail the ore to a level 1 alt on their same accounts and deposit some into the gbank until its full.
Once they are done farming they log onto the level 1 and sell items to the AH. I want to deal almost exclusively in raw materials because I dont want this to become a second job...although leveling already feels like it sometimes. The bots are staggered so that I always have one bot farming and one on the AH then one resting. Total daily time online is 16 hours per bot (2+2+2+2=8 farming 8 AHing). I have the AH bots setup to only post a maximum amount so I am not flooding. Undercutting is also automated with a minimum. Also they only undercut at 15 minute increments so thats a total of 8 repost every 2 hours. They all run on seperate IPs and the accounts are under different names.
Once sales are complete money is deposited directly into the guild vault and taken out by my main. This is the only connection between my main and the alts. There is zero face to face trading involved. The whole farming and AH shuffling is fully automated and the bots farm in random zones running reversed profiles that also are set to randomize. Is there any other precautions I could take or is this pretty much as safe as you get? What am I missing besides a second Pc with a second guild (more production, im on a higher pop server). This however, would involve purchasing a second level 25 guild which I am not too thrilled about. Should I expand? Any tips are appreciated. This has taken about 3 solid weeks to setup and I was lucky enough to get the battlechest+cata/mop on sale so I dont have too much real money invested. Maximizing profits with the least effort is my goal.
Oh and my main is never ran when the bot is running. Usually this results in a 1-2 hour downtime of the bots while I hop on to do a raid or what not. So I guess I get in about 21-22 hours of production. IP is changed everytime.
