How possible is it for me to get banned, with this setup ?

Hi Guys,

Quite new in the botting, well had been using GLIDER back some 7 years ago ?

Straight to it.
I only got 1 account in wow. My main is a 100 druid and got 2 other at 90 and 93 - and then my bank/mule toon @ lvl 1.

I think im running a bot 3 times a week through the night or during the day - about 6-8 hrs each time. so weekly botting will be someting like 24 +/- hrs on 2 different toons, with different profiles.

Of course if a player runs after me and repport me thats something i cannot cover for, but.

Do you "pro-botters" have a % of which you think im in danger for getting caught ?
I think i got a pretty solid setup compared to the Guys botting more toons on more accounts.

Im only selling stuff on AH in small qty and through different toons on my account.
Got a guild bank to launder items/golds.

And only botting so i have Money for myself.

The bottom line is always:
If you were playing by hand, would you do what you're going to have the bot do?

For example: No one herbs/mines for 6-8 hours straight. If you plan on having the bot do that, you've got a good chance of getting banned.
No one does one dungeon repeatedly for 6-8 hours straight. If you plan on having the bot do that, you've got a good chance of getting banned.
Whatever you do, keep asking yourself that question.

In the end, the chance will never be 0. But you can have it increase/decrease based on your activity.

What profile/botbase are you using? It makes a huge difference if you're using for example Gatherbuddy or just using a CR with Enyo. Or if you're using a public profile. Etc. etc.

Also, "running over night" implies you're not monitoring the bot - something I would never do, especially at the moment shortly after a release where the bot & profiles are far from optimal.

There's a lot of things that matter, not to forget the "luck" factor. The amount of time you're running the bot is a thing for sure, but other things might be more important. You can get banned after using the bot for 30 minutes for the first time ever, if you're doing it "wrong" (and probably are unlucky)

Thanks for both fast replies.

Im using public profiles but havent seen any1 els use them while im botting.
Im using different bot bases to vary my gaming. (im still a very noob on using other than the default settings that comes when u install HB)

But im am running the bot for 6-8 hrs straight doing the same thig. Maybe I should get that auto relog thingy to change toon or profile. Think i read about something like that somewhere ?

However only the couple of times botting over night its 100 afk - have never got stuck, dc or death or any /w - but during the day i have used Log Me In to monitor from my iPhone. also same, no dc /w or death. atleast for grinding/farming profiles.. the leveling of my alt is hard.. get 1-2 bar and it dc's.. but i guess thats the lack of q profiles for horde 90-100 still.. so im not complaining.. 2 bar gained is 2 less to go ^^

Im just happy i can use a bot to do the boring stuff. Just got a kid 1½ year ago so not sooo much time anymore. pretty sure alot of u are in the same spot

And if/when i get perm banned id prob going to stop playing wow. although wod is great fun !!
