We'll never know how many users they lost. Blizz doesn't give figures on subs any longer, plus they didn't give figures for the last banwave either. There's no reason for them to announce the number of suspended users at all.
Wow is still the most played mmo no matter what your personal feelings are on the game. You children sound angry for getting your hand caught in the cookie jar. If you didn't want to lose your account for botting, maybe you shouldn't have botted on your 10 year old account.
Oh..and the xbox one is the only platform that has real game play...You're totally right on that matterWow is the only computer game that's ever been released!
No, actually, I haven't been banned...On either of the 2 accounts I've botted on in the last 2 weeks, so I have no reason to be angry. I'm actually logged into one of those accounts right now running a different bot.
How can someone feel bad when they've been told from day 1 that they would be banned eventually? I feel no remorse for anyone, ever, that has been banned. I've lost many, many accounts throughout the years, I've never threatened to quit, nor have I ever blamed anyone but myself for being banned.
I just got banned for 6 months on my main account which I have been playing since 2006. I am happy because I was addicted to the game and the only was I could play more was to bot. Leveled up 11 toons to farm various mounts, pets and achievements that made me want to play more. I believe they have lost their most loyal player base as without bots many old wow players can't play the game or keep up with stuff as they used to before they were married or in work etc.
I have been botting since Cata and I think this is the time walk away from wow and look ahead.
Dumb question
i think they make +$$
the gold for gametime really cut into their revenue stream , and they have been forced into taking these kinds of actions to still get $$$ out of us
They love you guys, After a banwave you keep feeding them.
