How much IIQ/IIR?

Dont plan to get high% if you can't clear in less than 10 minutes.
forget about rarity, get as much dps(clear speed) and IIQ as possible

what would be a good build for the bot to do maps in ~5 min? I ran caustic arrow last season and averaged around 7 mainly because of weird stuttering backtracking..
Anything that allows quick traversing during those backtracks (can't be avoided). Whirling blades was the king pre-ascendency. It did get a slight nerf in attack speed though. Leap slam might be on par with WB now, haven't been able to test LW.
Edit: Some things you can do, such as turn off chest looting. If its not a map, you can reduce the amount of area to be explored before a new instance trigger (reduces backtracking).
Because of how the game works.
Rarity is for rarity, currency is ofc a rarity, but IIR don't affect currency.

sure, but alts are currencies too, that can be sold. i know IIR doesnt affect currency drop.

more IIR = more uniques, uniques value = 0, Q.E.D go for clear speed.
I would rather clear faster to get decent items rather than doing 10 townruns for alts
