Sorry if this has been asked before I couldn't find it with search.

Simple question - How much do the most profitable Honorbuddy paid profiles/plugins/CR/etc make? Is it in the $10k range? $100k range?

Umm, not entirely sure what you mean. You must be new to botting because it's not this simple.

There are several variables as in server prices, server population, supply, demand etc.

It's not like "hey this profile makes you 239392034 million gold".

he's referring to income... cash.. generated profits from writing a CR, Plugin so on.
i dont know the specific answer but formulating an idea is pretty easy. there are over 100,000 wow accounts using HB, this we know from a ban wave that ate an account or 2 for each one of them. if you figure that the average HB account has 2 wow account attached to it.. so 50k+ HB accounts. The most popular probably some Plug-ins because they will get used by people regardless of spec. maybe 50% usage. Plugin's around 10 bucks a pop. so that's what. 500k. CR's cost more but definitely would have less users. probably a good one with 10% share but higher costs 20 dollars or so. at 200k. now that's all before HB store takes their cut. then take into account that Blizz releases a new expac every 2.5 yrs or so..
Profitable yes. enough to quit your day job.. probably not.

Listen, I don't bot for cash. I use it to keep up my main account filled with flasks, food and what not. But in the last month I made about 1 million gold easily with just one account botting moderately. Not 24/7 at all. I imagine that if you would do that with a handful of accounts, you could do a decent profit. Never done it tho.

You'd be lucky to get $150 USD from selling a million gold, which could've easily been possible in a day on a single character before 7.1 hit...Now with 7.1, not so much. When prices finally stabalize in a couple weeks, you'll probably see a 40-60% income drop.

None of the major gold sellers advertise what they make on this website, but you'd figure there has to be a couple people making in the $100,000+ range from botting still. But we're also talking major operations, not your average botters on these forums..

I also very highly doubt anyone could ever put a dollar value on a botbase/CR/plugin...Anyone that will be making serious money is going to have their own profiles that you most definitely won't find on these forums.

You are right. Gold in my country is still worth more than that. I could get about 300 US for that 1kk. Everything else you said is right tho.

Guys, i just returned from a longtime inactivity from wow and HB, may i ask which way is the cheapest atm to buy accounts? use raf perhaps?

err not sure where you live but even at 200k lest bosslands like.. 60% or whatever they take cutwise, thats 80k. much more than i make in a year and im college educated. In the detroit area 100k will buy you a 1400sq ft 3 bedroom with a basement.

point is easily enough to quit your day job but how long is wow gonna be around. lil late in the game. Course developing for this leads to developing for other games/bots etc.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Just to be clear I was wondering what top developers on the buddy store are making selling profile / CR / etc - not botting for gold and selling the gold.

Highest price you can put on Buddy Store profiles is €30, from which Bossland takes 40% cut.

As for how many customers buy each profile, that's probably not something devs or Bossland would disclose. I'd be more worried about how much headache it causes to provide tech support to all customers.
