What kind of machines are you guys botting with? I just got a new Macbook Retina and am running my bot quite frequently. I'm worried that I'm pushing this thing too hard, though. The fans are humming pretty loud the whole time Diablo is running... even when I'm just sitting at the char select screen. Starting to worry that I'm shortening the life-span of this baby. Anyone else using a laptop to run their bot? Are you guys using cooling pads? I've been told they are quite pointless (lower the temp maybe 3-4 degrees). Any input would be greatly appreciated to help reduce my anxiety here.

Once the Windows 8 compatibility arrives I'll be running my second bot on my laptop, just a crappy old dualcore but it should do the trick I am hoping.

There is some thread here that lets you tune down the D3 gfx settings very low, find them and use them, you don't need to render anything when running it in the background

How does the bot continue to work when running it on the background? VMware? and how can you put your settings lower then the menu settings in d3?

I'm using my MacBook Air at the moment but got the same issue as Pojo. Don't know if it's a good idea.
