so far my IP is blacklisted, so i cant do 16hours anymore.

So im reducing it to 12hours/day but i think thats still too much as i run 6 accounts at once.

How many hours can you safely bot without triggering redflag?

I've lost like 20accounts in past 6months from same conversation from customer rep's <exploitation of economy> then i call and they say "you've farmed too long" or some bogus reason. they never say i botted.

Usually I have about 9accounts per server and one bank alt. I'm thinking of doing the following with ARelog per day:
8hours : accounts1-3
8hours : accounts 4-6
8hours : accounts 7-9

I'm pretty sure its humanly possible to farm 8hours per day without triggering redflag ?

Before though i use to do per day:
16hours : accounts 1-9

did they give your account back? because just farming too much is not a good reason to close an account.

they've closed all my accounts, pretty much every month a batch of 5 get closed, i have to call in and say i got hacked for them to unblock. Are you tellin me you can herb/mine for 24hours straihgt, i keep getting the 'exploitation of economy> emails, even though i dont auctionhouse or sellgold withmy bots

i've been botting for a year and have not had one account banned. granted i only bot for 8 hrs a day on each account and i move to different maps ever 2-3 hrs

To be honest I think it really depends on the server, the vigilance of players reporting and/or GM's giving a shit and what mood they're in.

Considering I'm ingame almost 18hrs a day on average everyday and thats before I started Botting. And am still yet to see a GM and/or even a Report (Touch Wood!).

May even have something to do with sooo many accounts running from the same IP. Twenty odd accounts from the same IP would suggest dedicated Gold Farmer/Seller.

GM's know people Bot, depending on how you Bot has alot to do with as well.

A person with a single account Botting for the purpose of leveling or hunting that rare pet is one thing and more than likely overlooked.

Yet a person with Multiple Accounts Botting for the sole purpose of making Gold to Sell to make Real Life Money is a whole different matter.

And if it is the case you ARE Botting for the purpose of Farming Gold to Sell for Real Life Money. Then myself and alot of others have no sympathy for you or your lose. You get what you deserve.

I completely agree. Sure you can make a lot of RL money, but it's not something that is looked highly upon here. Getting a lot of money is fun and all, and i usually give away 5k bundles weekly just for the heck of it. It's fun to do and makes things more interesting. But Arku is right.

However, if it is to make money ingame and not for RL, then power to ya for paying for 9 blizzard accounts most likely at cata lvl (about $100 per account +15 a month = $900 + $120 a month) is rather expensive. All i have to say is, be careful, dont stay in one area too long (i wouldn't suggest more then 3 hrs per zone) and the more accounts, the more likely you will get flagged.

Now that you talk about farming and getting ban, does fishing for too long count too? because i have fished over 6k trying to get the damn turtle and no luck.

I don't think Fishing will get you banned. They mostly focus on Herb/Mining and players most likely won't report you because you're... well fishing. You're basicially not stealing anything

any form of botting is not 100% safe this includes fishing, lvling, grinding, questing, herbs, mines, profession lvling etc. its a "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" program

Oh well, I do know about the risk. And yes Use at your own risk is something everyone should know with anything, not just botting. But i was just wondering. Because my excuse will be, "Hell i was not botting, i was fishing for that damn difficult turtle that you, Blizz, gave less than 1% catching" which is why i have over 6k fishes, plus they also have a Achievement for 10k cast. So i pretty much doubt, fishing is unsafe.

you should be fine. just remember to not fish longer then you would normally play. thats a huge red flag when a player is online 24/7
