How many bots can my system run? What is your set up like?

Hello,

Currently my set up is running 6 bots without much issue, also using tweaked D3Prefs for increased performance.

My system specs are the following:

Intel i7-3630QM 2.4 GHZ
12 GB of DDR3 Ram
GTX 670MX

Currently none of my bots run in VMWare and was wondering with my system what is the maximum amount of bots I could run without issue?
Second part of that question is if I were to run in VMWare how many bots would run on that set up?

If you don't know how to respond to my question it would be much appreciated to share what your specs are and how many bots you run, would be much appreciated.

you could guesstimate based on your performance right now.. have a look at your cpu/ram/video card % utilisation with like 4 bots, add another and check it the difference, add the last and check the difference again. from that you could guess whether youll be able to add another bot or more :)
 
Overclock your CPU, maybe 10 bots with d3prefs. VMWare is kinda useless. A little bit late to be buying in now though.
 
My computer can handle almost 50 copies of minesweeper. I get about 400-500 wins/hour.
 
My Setup
i7 3770k
Gigabyte 7950
16g ram

i only run two at a time but its only because thats all the clients i have, i run two with no problem maybe like 15-20% usage
 
keep in mind hes running a laptop which has a smaller cache and memory bus than pc. ive tried a 3630qm before just for fun and was only able to get 5 bots at once. this took cpu usage to about 70%.
 
my stats:
proc: i7 3770k OC 4.3Ghz
mobo: MSI z77 ga-43
RAM: 32gb (1600)
video: Gigabyte GTX670 4gb

at this moment i run 10 bots, cpu usage <50%, think i can run 20 max
