How long would you be willing to wait?

How long would you be willing to wait for the developers to fix some if not all of the bugs and glitches that exist in all the HB products? Full down time no bot at all.
I don't know about everyone else but I for one would be willing to go a week WITHOUT HB to give the developers some time to try and get things fixed. They have an awesome product here and think that if we all just said screw it and let the developers take down HB that would give them ample time to fix a lot of the bugs and glitches that exist right now. So what if we have give botting a break for a week. I for would rather be down for a week then to get banned because of some stupid stuck issue or whatever due to the bot doing some other stupid shit. No new features just fix what we have now so that we can all do more AFK botting. Well that's my 2 cents. What does everyone think?

What people say and what they actually would like are often two completely different things.

I personally would like to see the bot receive no further additions and leave it in pretty much its present state (except for patch changes). The reason why I would prefer to see this is so that the devs can actively work on HB3.
What people fail to realise is HB2 is hack on top of hack, sometimes the hacks work, sometimes they fail and sometimes they cause other bugs because it affects the behavior of another hack.

Until people realise this we will be left with HB2 and fixes on top of fixes will continue to happen.

Are you troll'in????

HB is fine, why would they take it down when it works great. Ive AFK'd my new shaman so far 1-32 no issues. It might get stuck on a FP every once and awhile, but it logs out so there is no worries on getting banned.

Also the bot does not need to be taken down for them to fix it. It can be fixed while this current version of HB is still up.

Only thing that I think needs to be changed is the BG bot, bot parthing seems to be pretty dumb. But hey it will get fixed, just to wait.

there is no need to stop(for a wekk or something)in order to fix the bugs

bugs can be fixed while Hb is up and running

i agree with Synik and basically we are on that road :)

LOL, nope I don't troll. Just sharing my thoughts. I for one would rather see the stuck issues fixed. Logging out is fine to be safe but I think that it should only be as a last resort.

Just wondering were are you getting stuck?

The latest release has very bad path precision which leads to the bot being caught on fences, lamp posts and also causes it to fall down cliffs and other walkways because it runs so close to the edges.

the QuestBot uses a lower path precision in 4492.
It had some issues getting up stairs etc. the rest has the same
is that what you mean?

I must somhow be gettin very lucky because I'm having very little issue.

AB in 4492 just sucks in STV. Has a lot of trouble getting through the tree. Plus the issue with not landing and dismounting when attacked is ridiculous. The only thing I can AFK for for long periods of time is GB2. It would be really nice to be able to run IB without having to babysit it. Due to the nab issues it has in instances. The bot should be programmer to be smart enough to say "Oh, look a fence. Let's jump over it." and just go over it. Even better yet. How about it be logic enough go around objects that it clearly can not walk under or over. It should have enough logic to stop this stupid activity the first time not after 5 minutes. Is this too much to ask for? All I want is a smarter bot. Don't get me wrong. I really do like the product. All I am saying is that there is a lot of room for improvement. That's why I am more then willing to bitch slap anyone that claims it doesn't work at all because they are too lazy or too stupid to follow simple instructions.

Up/down stairs and on some terrain where it looks routes to the main path but ends up sliding back down because it runs too tightly to the edge. Will grab some screens and of the types of terrain I mean.

Screens below, cant grab XYZ atm, will do later on.

After having read Apoc talking about this mysterious HB3, i can only stress the idea Synik mentioned.

HB2 has to be featurefrozen, with only patchupdates and minor bugfixes so the real rewrite can happen and we can move on.
If HB3 provides are more flexible and solid base as Apoc has mentioned, extending and improving it is way faster than with the current Hb2.

Guys, do it ;)
