How long until prices level out in new expac?

For those who have focused on farming and making mad gold for a long time, how long does it usually take the crazy stupid prices of "super new expac mats, items, etc" to level off to closer to what it will look like for most of the patch/expac?

if you mean:

in the new expansion, the prices will be .. "insane" in the beginning, it can take a few months .. or a week.. till it calms down a bit ;D
so basically, it depends on how many bots are running on that server, the higher demand = the higher supply = the lower prices if the supply is high enough..

I'd say 2-5 months before the prices die down to what they should be. Once people have enough time to get the rare stuffs.
