How long do u let your bot rest a day?

I lost an account and the representative said we can tell you rarely log off and therefore must be using third party software.

So im thinking , ok maybe if i let my bots sleep 8hours and play 16hours? is that satisfactory to not trigger their tripwire?

what else do u do to make sure your bot doesnt appear like a bot?

Personally I would advise against botting any more than 10-12 hours a day. Link to related stuff and explanations in mah sig.
 
whats resting? :P <----never gotten banned. But there is alot of ways to go about doing it. odviously using badboy plugin and using a logger to take breaks. 6hrs on 2-3hrs off will help

Personally I advise against using BadBoy. Anytime I see someone using that I assume they're up to no good, I can't imagine anyone hates getting whispers that much or gets that many, unless they're famous on YouTube or something. Definately check it out, if you like it go for it. But do keep in mind I know for a fact there are many folks out there like me with similar views of BadBoy.

I agree since a larger percentage of people dont use badboy it does draw more attention to the user. But you will not get a whisper from a gm because you wont accept /w from players. I think you would be worse off getting whispers and ignoring the person. But tomato tamato :)
 
I thought everyone used Badboy. At least everyone I know does.
 
Hardly anyone uses Badboy.... Just look at the Stats almost 2 million total downloads and an average of over 5000 downloads a day for the last month. Clearly if you use Badboy you are a bot.............................
 
Lets see, in the past week, with the right profiles, ive fully resto / kitty geared a druid. And leveled a DK to 80. Got called out to work, been working like 60 hours in three and a half days, so they have been running the whole time... AG Relogger! So if it crashes it starts up again. No banns, no whispers about botting, nothing. Its great. .... So if I had to guess 24+ hours strait. And I have been doing this for 2-3 weeks. Short breaks
 
the rest time for me is only when servers are down
but i dont care if i lose an acc:p
 
same goes for me,i did almsot 24/7 on my current toon who did get lvl 85 after 10 days of botting,so^^
