So I used to use Basabots, it was simple, easy, and it did what I needed it to. That being said, Basa has stopped updating his bot completely and now all that's left is a broken mess of a program on my desktop. I've been trying to compare this one to ffxivminion, I like that this one has a lifetime option, but I can't seem to find any videos using this bot and that makes me nervous not seeing it work before I get it. I really just want it for craft/gather since I'm on a populated server and attack bots seem risque. Also if this is in the wrong category, sorry! I couldn't find any more appropriate.

Technically, it's not a "support" issue, but no harm done, honestly. We're always looking for new people around here, so most people don't mind that threads pop up in other places than they "should."

Buddy has Minion beat on the gathering side of things, not in the sense that minion cant do the same things, but that the user created content is more rich and complete for Buddy.
Minion is just so user friendly though and does everything it does at a super polished and intuitive level.
I use both personally. I use Buddy for gathering and minion for everything else.
I only recently purchased a lifetime for Buddy, because I was frustrated that ephemeral nodes, favors, red/blue scrip farming is basically non-existent for minion. The devs will get to it eventually. None of the 3rd party programmers seem to care about it much either.
