Dear Buddies,
I am writing today with a smile on my face, not because I wasn't banned. But because I could stand up after the ban.
I am currently running 8 bot accounts and today I received emails for two of them getting banned. Of course I was pissed off at first but I tried to remember my past failures and what I did different this time.
Allow me to share with you that overall I've had 15 accounts banned (12 which I could never get back). And I believe I have *discovered* a way not to avoid bans, but to overturn them. If you think this is just an appeal template that you can use with no previous set-up, then please stop reading and go away. This actually requires some effort to do but the results are satisfying.
First off:
I was using GB2 with self made profiles, alternating them every 2-3 hours. For about 6-10 hours daily. I was banned last night however.
I believe no matter how cautious you are with your bots, you WILL GET BANNED FOR USING GB2/BGBUDDY despite of what the majority says. It's just a matter of how and when.
BUT YOU CAN BE PREPARED FOR THE BAN
Well there's really no way to see it coming, but you have to make sure you have a wildcard for your actions.
This will not work 100% but it has yet to fail me.
1. Don't bot for too long periods of time, make it look like a real human with other needs.
2. Don't leave your bot alone if you know it's not reliable (questing, gb2, bgbuddy)
3. DO HUMAN THINGS: Arenas, world pvp, gurubashi arena, darkmoon faire stuff, rated BGs, etc. Things that do not have a bot made for them.
4. Come up with a good story that reflects a little anger, dislike and passion.
5. Create a ticket and explain what happened, you got the email, etc. Now tell them you did X Human things and that they had no reason to ban you for doing Y because it's your common behavior.
Also talk about your friends, build a friend list, don't go full afk retard mode.
As I said, this might not always work, but reading these lines can put a smile on anyone's face:
