I've seen alot of people here over the past couple months post how the increase in 72hr suspensions have gone up greatly. Yes its odd but then again, its probably just that more people are reporting something thats been going on for awhile.
But one thing I have noticed is the increase in random whispers over the past couple months. Some posted that the Shut Up plugin was a dead give away. There are actual in-game addons that do the same thing as Shut Up so unless you don't change your respones thats probably not the case...
On my account I actually hand play (yes some of us actually do that, its not just a myth).. i've been getting some real odd whispers lately, more in BG's then normal but still.
Some of these are "Do you speak spanish?" or "Hey, where did you get that mount?" or "Cool Guild name, are you the GM?"
Now i know these seem stupid and random, but there are a efw times during BG's that when I go to respond to the person they no longer exist. And when I started checking them on Armory, well ya.. no such toon listed. I know that some gold sellers use such tactics but when the message comes from someone on another realm during a BG?
My guess is theres a slight chance Blizzard is going old school and based on other player reports and/or system stats, checking out toons at random.
Anyone have any insight/opinion on this?
