The pathing is probably algorithm based off of "if" scenarios. If that is the case it will go as far as the scenarios are. If it has a max drift limit it hasn't been confirmed by developers to my knowledge.

they already came out with an update for distance my question for them is to add some sort of outline of how far the distance we set or if they can just change the distance instead of setting to Xmeters you just zoom out or zoom in as much as you want then when the bot starts it only goes that set distance
For perspective, 500 meters is about 1/5 of central park it seems. Even though central park is roughly 4,000 meters in length. I am not sure if this is a misinterpretation on my part of if the range setting is a bit buggy right now.
Also you can use this WTracks - Online GPX track editor to check the distances, just set a point on your startlocation and second somewhere else and circle your second point around to see the radius in meter.
