You set groups for either crafting or auctioning. Within these groups you create operations which detail things such as minimum profit stack size etc.
The crafting option is pretty cool it will detect what gems/glyphs/whatever you are low on and it's a simple click to make more.
TSM can be used for flipping auctions but is tedious and time consuming if done by hand.
I learnt a lot about TSM through google searches and videoes. But what you do need at your disposal is access to most if not all primary profressions, TSM will not simply make you gold you need to know how to do it, TSM simplifies the process.
There is an awesome AH bot on this forum if your into glyphs and gems. Long story short it will post items in set stacks check every XX minutes and cancel and repost as needed. Control the glyph market with a tool like this.
