How do you update your DB after patch?

Hi there. First time here and first time i experience a patch and the need for an update. Pretty straight forward question. When the ppl working on DB come up with a patch, do we just log in DB and it'll download the update itself, or do we have to download a new DB copy which then we have to update and redo all the settings we had and what not?

Yes DB will prompt for an update and you can just move forward. Sometimes Updating can Break DB so like many other Vet DB users. I do a fresh install every time. I don't even copy over my settings I reset EVERYTHING

This is one of the better solutions.

I always remove CompiledAssemblies and Settings folder after the update is done.
Usually works for me.

If there is no other solution, just a fresh install.

Will this make all previous versions of the bot not work? I have a lot of versions that I've found work best with different profiles.

Should I just wipe them all and start fresh?

if we need to download and install a completely new install, why save a old one.

or are you saying the new DB will auto replace our old DB and keep all the plugins and settings?
