How do you stop HonorBuddy From Updating?

But how do you stop it from even trying to update? Is there not a setting that you can uncheck from constantly checking for updates?

So it's going to check for updates no matter what?

Out of curiosity, why would you ever not want to update?

Since each Honorbuddy release is matched to a specific WoWclient version (e.g., offsets et al), why would you ever want a stale HB?

thanks for any insight,

Why the hell whould we do it? Updates always fix smth and makes bot better...

If you use a-relog and it automatically restarts hb from an error or something it does not auto accept the update it just sits there. Id rather update it when I want to when I am there instead of when it wants to. I believe the user should have control over this feature.

Ah, that's a scenario I hadn't considered. Thanks for the education.

Maybe because he plays on EU and not US?

Maybe because he plays on EU and not US?

We Americans have a superiority complex.
We don't think there are other countries in the world...

Anyway, maybe Apoc will consider the feature.

Is there a way to block the update via the hosts file? and if there is what would be the address I need to block until setting comes out?

Why is there no way to blocked it? Can they put an option to not check for updates?
