for those that sell to private parties, is it worth it financially? I see how much they resell for and can't imagine they'd pay more than 30% of what they resell for
Usually when you first start off selling you sell to friends and guild mates people who wont report you and send you money via paypal. Then as you climb the ladder you can go investigate gold sites and if you manage to communicate with them you might be so lucky as to strike a deal with them on your server. Unfortunetly your aspirations of being a gold farmer are about two years to late. Currently a friend who sells to a gold selling site gives them 100k gold for $30 each transaction, which when you look at the trade off is not really worth it unless you sending them closer to 1,000,000 gold across servers every week, then your making $300 a week but in doing so you probably have 9 clients and 3 lifetime subscriptions at least which you are setback initial cost and time to level the toons around $630 and time + $115 a month to keep the accounts running + replacing accounts that get banned which is inevitable when your farming 24 hours a day on that many accounts
On the contrary if you find a whale who wants gold to spend on frivolous things you could sell them 1000 for one doller and then your making $100 per 100k which is a sweet trade off
If you want I can go into detail on the specifics of how to get from point a to b, but posting it is not really fair to the guys who figured it out already and are doing it themselves. Nobody likes competition when it invades their territory
disarm that's about the %'s I was thinking. I currently use all of the gold I farm on enchants/etc and only farm 1 day a week and level the other 6. I was just wondering if it'd be worth it to start another account with another lifetime subscription for that sole reason.
I used to sell in glider days, but there was a lot more money in it.
