How do you sell your botted materials?

Hey guys.

I was just after some advice on how others sell their botted materials. i recently got a ban that was reversed on my account for "Abuse of the Economy" - i had a shit load of auctions up from the days harvest so im trying to be abit more cautious.

what is a "safe" amount of auctions?
do you try and mix it up by selling in trade as well as AH?
do you try and find direct buyers?

At the moment i have an entire guild bank full of eternium ore and cinderbloom/whiptail with more coming in every day and im not sure how to get rid of it all without looking sus.

Try to spread your mats across multiple toons and sell. Most likely someone reported you for having too much of the same mat up at a time in AH. You might want to lay low for awhile, since blizz might be keeping an eye on you...

I spread my mats across 2-3 toons and undercut myself by a little lol. Don't put up auctions with your farmer toon. I usually have 50-100 auctions up per toon and I think that's pushing it. But I do it bcuz IDGAF if I get banned n e more lol. I'd say keep it under 50 stacks per toon to be on the safe side (try to mix it up per toon, i.e. 25 stacks cinderbloom and 25 stacks whiptail). Don't put up like 50 stacks of the same mat on one toon. Private buyers are good to have, but not necessary IMO.

I actually don't technically post up my gathered mats. I only mine, I send the ore to my JC, prospect it, then xmute the carnelians and demonseyes. I make rings and necklaces out of everything else except zepherytes(sp) and DE them. I sell everything in bulk after that, painlessly and unreported.

my bots run mining/herbing profiles in uldumso i get a shitload of ore + herbs. i took a break from wow and when i came back the price of darkmoon cards has dropped dramatically so i just sell herbs off. i dont know how else to get rid of those. i have not checked the current prices of gems n enchanting mats on my server. but generally is prospecting more profitable than selling ore?

The herbs, without getting into trouble for selling them off in bulk, you can use them for xmuting gems. Depending on your server, if you do not let your prospected ore go to waste and use everything you can, you can, on average make about 2-3x more versus selling the ore straight up on AH.
