How do you make Gold out of mining?

Just selling the jems and mats or by actually forging stuff? Selling in the AH/to players?

How do you do it? Selling gems isn't that much gold to me :/

just selling ore and sometimes bars. Mining outland, thorium, mithril, cobalt, and the new ores gets me lots of gold and little work. Gemcutting is really not worth.

i use my xmute master alchemist to turn the green gems into shadowspirit diamonds then cut the diamonds and can turn 4k worth of ore into 15-20k worth of shadowspirit cuts. Easy 15-20k in like 5-6 hrs of farming.

I do the same to a point, because the cuts do not sell NEARLY as quick as raw ore does on my server. All in all, i prospect and make shadowspirit cuts out of probably 1 out of 5 farming trips. By the time I have offloaded enough to make it worth making more, i have sold 25k or so in raw ore.

WOW, I am still getting 80g+ per stack of ele ore on my server....usually 100g+ and sold within a couple hours of posting, regardless of the amount put on the AH, it ALL sells

i use PB multiprofile with Herb/mining getting about 50/ele and about 200/Pyrite, herbs goes for about 80 for twilight and crap prices for the rest so those i just leave there for the other botters to waste their time on
