How do you Level Mining/Herb?

Hi, I really have to level my mining and herbing skills.

I was wondering how you guys level it with either HB or GB?

I load GB but it can't tell whether to move past or through the Durotar mountains.

I also try HB2.0 but it gets stuck on game objects, and deciding whether or not to mine or go to a hotspot.

How do you guys do it?

Manually leveled to 275 Mining / 300 Herbing then started botting Outlands - Northrend.

tbh before you get to the outlands.. hand leveling

Did herbing by hand till outlands. I did mining with GB but it seemed to take longer due to getting stuck. I did my other miner by hand while I quested.

Haha, so far everyone that has posted above me isn't as lazy as I am apparently. I used GB from level 1-450 on both herbalism and mining. If I could I remember I would tell you the ones I used. The main thing is, just try and stick around your computer whilst your character isn't yet in Outlands, because with the ground mount, GB doesn't like to co-operate it seems.

I also successfully leveled both profs by bot . But I had it easy with 2 monitors, I was able to play my main on one and keep eye on bot with other. I dont remember the profiles that were used accept that the HB(not GB) profile that is for ungoro is badass. Also I had no problems with http://www.buddyforum.de/showthread.php?28-HERB-The-Hinterlands-by-iggi66&p=36011#post36011 where many others did. But like I said you will not be able to go full AFK.

I wonder how my herbalism profiles will do with HB2... i'll give it a whirl today, who knows.. maybe i make some mining profiles if it's that good =p

Im using HB2 to lvl Herb and Mining, works perfect if u ask me. i just make my own profiles as i go along.

Tony, yes it is good, but sometimes it cannot decide wheather to goto a hotspot or mine a mineral, if say there it is at a mountain pass like the long one in durotar.

In this case it would move constantly back and forth trying to go to the mineral, then changing it's mind and moving to goto the hotspot, repeating this constantly.

I let it level herbing while leveling but mining was half HB/GB and half by hand till 300 then just let GB do the rest

*This was on the old HB of course haven't used HB2 for gathering since well its still in beta and has some things that would make herbing/mining maddening. Though I will be trying on next release

Confirming this.
But i like the gathering feature now more than ever! =D
so far i've only noticed the above bug and getting stuck cause of game objects every now and then.
But it's awesome
