Hi all,

I have played a number of MMO’s but in all the time I have been gaming I have never got to level cap. I tend to like to do all the quests, explore all the content and then for one reason or another I get bored or move to another game.

I’m currently just using the bot to farm area’s lower level then my character, so that I can play through the content – but I’m starting to wonder if it’s best to just get my main to level 50 to see what endgame is like. As I have never got to level cap before – I have no experience if the endgame content is better than the levelling content. I don’t want to miss out so I’m holding back on my botting!

What’s your opinion on this – would be interesting to see how you other botters do it. I’m very much a casual player so I only get 5-10 hours maximum per week to actually sit down and play.

Let me know what you think..

I am personally botting a mage to 50, but going through the quests on my warrior.

The mage I dont really play he is just a farmer for me to get leathers, cloths, plants, and ore but am using some of the profiles to level him to 50 and get that stuff and plat for my char.

The Warrior, I am leveling via quests using the Bot and the CombatProfile to handle his fighting.

Hopefully you will experience the end-content to be more worth then the leveling content but thats totally up to you. Nobody can really answer if you like or dislike the end-content because this opinion relies on your personal interests. Hence, make your own experience and decide whether "this" or "this".

BUT my opinion end-content is more worth it. I like raiding and defeating hard bosses which is not matter of fact within the leveling process. Furthermore I need to have ALL skills to maximize my performance which is not possible while leveling, too. Botting, beside ensures that I am capable and able to raid / go to hard-mode instances (in order to support me with pots, money).

While reading that you only have 5-10h / week botting can be the way to go for you. As usual... get knowledge about how to create your OWN profiles.. then do it.. and finally enjoy looking into your bags after school/university/work/war whatever your doing in your real life... :D

Thanks guys,

I'm at 35 on my main by myself so not doing too bad. Think I might create an alt for farming for now and get that to 50 and just play my main like normal.....I supose I could always use the bot on my main for achievements and the like.

I just don't want to miss out on the Dungeons while levellling - you get locked out of them once you go past the level range and it would be a shame to miss the content...

You get to revisit all the leveling dungeons at 50 on expert mode, which actually adds content to them (new bosses, unlocked areas, new boss mechanics etc) so don't worry about that.

I leveled my mage to 50 myself, then bought the bot and botted a cleric to 50 as I enjoyed the cleric more and wanted to go straight to end-game with him (since I enjoy it more than leveling). Level 50 is all about 'leveling' things other than your actual level. At 50 you 'level up' your gear, your notoriety, your achievements, your favor and prestige, etc all while progressing through harder and more complex dungeons, raids and rifts. Right now I'm just using the bot to farm plat, as I just bought the 110% speed mount and am poor :P
