How Do You BG Bot?

I'm curious to know how you folks bot in battlegrounds. I am aware this is a dangerous practice and want the most information I can get before doing it.

I may already have been reported once today, but the guy just stood there watching me for only a couple moments so I jumped around and started looking at hima cting like I was confused why he wasn't going anywhere, then said something to him. So hopefully I didn't get reported there lol, doubt it though.

Anyway, I see a lot of people claiming they afk bot bgs, or only have to watch them occasionally. I've tried botting in this weekends CTA (EOTS) as well as WSG & AV, but I can't imagine letting the bot run at all without getting reported tons. When I watch the bot it is incredibly obvious and I can't imagine people have botted multiple characters to 85 and gear this way, so I figure I'm doing something wrong.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

My personal opinion is that BGBot looks a lot more bottish than PvP bot. Others may disagree though. Ive PvP BG botted for ages with no issues. Yes it looks bottish, but thats just the way it is.

I've AFK PvP BG botted all night, but usually awake to find that I've DC'ed due to my internet, but it still runs a good 4-6 hours without a whisper. And if they did report me, nothing happened and this was done with a DK ^.^

Thanks I'll give PvPBot a look. I don't mind it looking a little bottish that's just part of the risk, but from the look of BGBot I'll make it like 20 min before a ban haha.

I recommend using the PVPBot over BGBot, and be sure to get w00ts BG Profiles. It will make a huge difference for you. I know it has for me.

Took to long no longer able to edit, works much better now. Still a little like a bot but much much less risk.

Very welcome. Also I didnt mention my profiles to you because they are in my sig and I never attempt to advertise my profiles. People talk about their own work enough on the forums and I just try to let my work speak for itself (other peoples word of mouth).

W00t's profiles rock, sometimes the .cc lets you down though, don't blame the profile.

I use BgBot all the time, but I watch it 80% of the time and always 100% for the first 5 or 6 runs to be sure nothing funky is going on. You look less silly if you actually have a PVP set on, running around with Cata blues doing BG makes you stick out like a sore thumb. It is easy to bot up a full set of gear quickly, especially if you are winning all the time.

The rest i don't bot ever.
