How do I use the bot nowdays? help please!

Hello, I used to use this bot all the time in cata, I understood it and it worked perfectly. then the new patch for MoP came out and ruined everything. I have tried and tried to get the bot to work but I just cant figure it out. I figured out finally how to actually get the bot to run, but once I get the bot attached to WoW I cannot get it to do anything.

When I try to run questing it tells me "No routines were loaded. Please ensure there is a routine for your class before starting the bot.". What the hell is a routine? Before the new patch was released there were no such thing as "routines". Are "profiles" being called "routines" now? I look inside the "load profile" section of the bot and I see absolutely no profiles. In the "default profiles" folder there are BGBuddy and dungeonbuddy folders, but I can't find any leveling profiles. When I look inside the "routines" folder, all of the sub folders within it are empty. It is making me feel like an idiot. I know it works mostly, because I see tons of people on this website who say "Oh yeah I left it running all night last night while I slept." or "I am currently leveling my monk with the bot.". I want to know how? Do I need to download all new profiles myself from this website?

When the bot went down I figured "Alright, its probably gonna be a while till it is up and running again, I will just wait, level my toon to 90 by hand then check back up on it." well Its been a long time, and I come back and download the new bot release and its totally different. I see people are using it, but I cannot for the life of me get it to work. Perhaps in the long window of time I just didn't even bother with the bot I missed important threads on this website explaining how the new version of the bot was going to work?

Anyways I just want to figure this bot out, any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I read through the setup guide. I guess my main question here is - Where are all of the profiles that honorbuddy used to include with the download? When I click load profile, and go into the "default profiles" all I see is BGbuddy and Dungeonbuddy folders. Where are all the questing profiles? Where are the grinding profiles? Do none of those kicks profiles work anymore, and that's why they are not included with the new release? Do I need to download any profiles I want manually now? I don't use dungeonbuddy or bgbuddy, And I can't seem to find any other profiles anywhere.
 
Thanks for posting those profiles CodenameG, but I seem to have run into another issue now. After selecting my botting mode and my profile, when I try to start the bot I receive a message in the bot console in red font that says "No routines were loaded. Please ensure there is a routine for your class before starting the bot."

I then switched to enhanced mode, and tried opening up the "class config" menu and a error message window pops up stating the same error message "No routines were loaded. Please ensure there is a routine for your class before starting the bot." there is a tickbox that says "ignore this error and attempt to continue." as well as a button to "Send Error Report" and another for "Don't Send". So I first just selected "Don't Send" then the bot just closed itself, I restarted and tried again, ended up with the same window, but this time I ticked the "Ignore this error and attempt to continue" box, the window disappeared but the bot would not open the "class config" menu. It just does the same thing every time.

I know I've got WoW set up properly (windowed, 32 bit client, DX11,) and I am running both WoW and the bot as admin.

Help with this issue is appreciated! thanks!
 
post a full log as an attachment so i can see whats going on.
 
make a new install of honorbuddy into a new folder, somehow something got messed up. let me know if you get the same thing.
 
alright, I deleted my honorbuddy and did a fresh install. I am still getting the exact same results. If I go into my honorbuddy folder via the C: directory and go into the "routines" folder, there is a sub folder called "singular". when I go into that folder, there is a folder called "ClassSpecific", Inside that folder I can see all the different folders for classes (rogue, druid, deathknight, paladin, warlock, shaman, hunter, mage, priest, monk, warrior). There is absolutely nothing inside those folders. I went into each class folder and each one is empty. Whether or not there is supposed to be anything within those folders, I am unsure.

there is, what id recommend is doing a new install of honorbuddy, you can get it at Home make sure you install to a new folder.

That is pretty much what I did, I deleted the honorbuddy folder alltogether, and then I re-downloaded it from the home page.

I am assuming that "carrots and apples" means working properly? No, after deleting my honorbuddy folder, re-downloading a fresh one fro the home page and installing, I am still getting the same routine error message I was getting. Still no luck.
 
post me a new log as an attachment so we can make sure its the same issue as before.
