How do I use "Proxy Settings" for the newest update???

Just redownloaded the newest update for PokeFarmer and saw this new change. I do not know how to use VPN or anything about proxy settings. I am also worried about my new accounts being perma-banned...

Any advice on how to properly use this setting without getting caught?

Any good links to learn how to set-up VPN on Windows 10?

Who has an amazing privacy network set-up that prevented them from being perma-banned so far?

My socks5 proxy didnt work with Pokefarmer
