How do I save changes to lootrules?

Sorry for being dumb here

I open the .xaml and make some changes. When I press save changes nothing seems to change and when I open the loot rule again its back to default.

Ok i am now in the file with notepad++

I still dont know what to change, is in the cs file or the .xaml. I want to stop looting blue weapons, set my gold loot to 100 and pick up craft tomes.

Can You help me what to change please ?

Have you tried Trinity plugin?
the setup will be easier

Yes I have installed giles trinity plugin. Same questions when trying to edit those.
