How Do I resolve crashing/switch to running dx9?

After the recent update, Honorbuddy would be stuck logging in. I've read other people's posts and they share the same problem, and the same solution comes up: Switch to dx9.

How do I do that? And are there other alternatives to solving it besides switching to dx9?

remove:

- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


restart your pc,
download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

How do I update .net and c++ files? When the wizard reinstalled the files I deleted, I clicked repair on the 3 files that it gave me. Also Windows Update did a scan, and nothing needed to be updated.

try changing wow to dx9 mode, you can do this via your wow graphic settings.

Go to Programs and Features, in your windows Control panel.
Look for:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.x
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


and Uninstall them if they are installed.
Restart your PC.

I did all the steps, it still crashes as soon as I log into the bot.

It gives this message in the honorbuddy window:
