How do i make waypoints (Follow a custom path i make)?

there are many answers that will help you. without knowing exactly what your purpose, here is the simplest way to create a 'hotspot' honorbuddy's version of a waypoint.
open wow to any char
take char to spot you wish to create the hotspot
open hb
click developers tab on main interface
click generate hotspot
copy/pasta from main hb window.
