How do I make gold on a server I rerolled on? (High population)

Alright so basically on my main server I have a farmer and a toon with inscription, jc, alchemy, enchanting. I farm herbs and ore and I mill + prospect my herbs + ore. I then turn half of my gems into equips with jewelcrafting and disenchant them with enchanting. I then transmute meta gems with alchemy and cut them with jewelcrafting. I cut rare gems and auction house them, and I turn all my inks into inferno inks and sell darkmoon cards on the auction house.

I did this for about 3 days and I have made about 100 000 gold. Now I am thinking about rerolling on a server just for PvP. On my new server, I just want to have enough gold so that I can buy gems and enchant my gear. Maybe 10 000 gold at once or something.

My question is, what is the best way to do this? I know if I hadn't given my crafters my herbs and ore I would have probably made roughly 10 000 gold instead of 100 000 gold. So, should I just do it with inscription + herbalism?

Inscription probably has made my most of my gold. However, leveling it would eat up a lot of my profits as I could have just auction housed herbs and maybe gotten mining instead.

So in your opinion, what is the best way to get say 10 000 gold on a high population server?

Take in mind that the following is not based on botting, but getting gold on a new realm.

-level to 5
-learn inscription
-do daily inscription research
-scan ah 2 to 3 times a day
-keep an eye on the glyphs that are moving the most
-craft and sell the glyphs.

you only need a few gold to get started, once you start moving the glyphs the money starts to roll in. do this on a toon you are not leveling, and fund it as needed from your leveling toon.
