How did you do it?

My only account was caught in this ban wave. So I would very much like to get it back sooner than 6 months. I see a few people who say that they got the ban lifted from their account. I am wondering if any of those are from this new wave of 6 month bans and if so, what did you say to Blizzard?

I only received one ban report so far on my botting account.
That account was gathering for 18 hours a day, at the same zone. In fact I did not get banned for gathering so many hours/days, I got banned by selling gold from it, weird right..
I received an email with their usual BlaBla chit and permanent banned.
I wrote them back I only gave my friend some gold which I earned by non stop gathering and worked hard for it and that I dont know any botting programs, etc..

Got an email back a few hours later saying my account was not permanent banned but only 72 hours.

Once unlocked again, I did gather again like before, 3 days later permanent ban..

These 6 months bans are quite new - seen them since less than 48 hours, so we yet to read how Blizzard handle them, in both applying and appealing.

To the OP - do not wait for appealing model, but just call them or use the Live chat and ask for customer service attention.
