How can i set up SoR for a monk ?

I hate leveling, so im hoping we can SoR and make an instant 80 monk,
i have only one account though, i do have another but its a starter edition but its been in-active for about a year,
can i upgrade it and then do it ?

not with a starter edition unless you paid for the battlechest. everyone has a starter edition on their bnet account.

yesi know thats what im asking, is their anyway that i can SoR account ? and is it a case of upgrading the starter account and if i do upgrade will it still be eligible for a SoR ?

If you upgrade, it will become active, so no it wont work.

If monks are eligible for SOR and the SOR promo is still available, buy a SOR Account when MOP comes out, easiest solution.

Yeah i could do, but i was hoping to have the monk on my account really, I have been told that SoR will be eligible for monks but when you do it it will not let you get any realm firsts or something,

Owned Core has plenty of sellers that have SoR accounts.

One thing i was going to suggest was, why not RaF yourself? get 2 chars on 2nd account to 80 then you'll have 80 granted levels insta 80 monk on YOUR account then just sell the 2nd account for gold or ILR money....even more profitable xD

Good idea actually, but i have managed to sort something finally,
and its on one of my very old accounts so should be safe.

Already answered this on a previous thread.

Monks is a class not a race. Therefor, you do not need to do the 'start-up' quest lines. *Wink, wink*

-Oh and to clear out any other confusion, I read a Blue post on the EU-Forums, saying that Monks will be able to get insta 'granted' to level 80 at MoP launch. (But they will not be able to get a 'Ressurection scroll' to get the instant level 80.)

Monks wont be eligable for SOR as there is an achivement for it. Its on a mmo blue talk to devs somwhere was there a cppl of weeks ago also on a pico vid bout same time.
