Hotspots - how do they?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of making a set of 1-450 mining and herbing profiles based off Gathermate, Gathermate_Data and Routes.

What I want to ask is how does Honorbuddy use hotspots? I basically want to force it to go from one place to another, even if the distance is longer from another hotspot.

Will it find the closest hotspot and go to it, or follow the order of spots I placed down to the bone?

E.g, If i had three hotspots: 1,2 and 3.

I want the order to go from 1 - 2 - 3 but 1 and 3 are closer together. Will Honorbuddy go straight from 1-3 or will it go 1-2-3?

I'm fully aware it's been done, but look at the amount of hotspots actually in the profiles. I've used that profile to level 2 chars from 1-450.

The amount of ore/herbs it gathers per hour isn't desirable and has obviously been done just to get a vague amount of herbs. I intend to get as many as possible by hotspotting all major nodes as a waypoint.

It will go in the order of 1 - 2 - 3, but if you stop the bot whilst it is on 2, and then restart it again it will restart the sequence again at 1. When it gets to 3 it will find the shortest/best route back to 1.

When making gathering profiles for HB, make them as if you're making a waypoints profile instead of a hotspots profile.
Every few yards lay a hotspot (like 30-50 yards or so).

Then disable hotspots randomization in the profile itself (check the guides section for all the available profile tags and how to use them).

I'll get to work on the profiles tonight - hopefully they'll be either on par or better than the current popular HB 1-450 farming profile.
