Is the MaximumHotspotTime <MAXIMUMHOTSPOTTIME></MAXIMUMHOTSPOTTIME>flags in profiles working at intended? I've created a new profile for leveling toons in early Northrend (68-75) and for the last 3 hours its just been grinding at the same hotspot. The value I've used is 450000 ms (7.5 minutes).

Should be working, post up your profile.

maybe he has not put the level tags in the profile so the bot will just keep grinding in the same location cause it does not know when to change zones at what level.

Nah, I've definatly specified the level ranges for each sub profile, this has not changed since HB1, but I wanted to try out the hotspot switching with the idea of having a larger number of simpler hotspots to keep my characters moving around and not be in the same place for long. I'm going to test it a bit further, it could just be me and something I've done.

Lols. Epic fail on my part. 2 secs whilst I readjust my math

Right, after my little sudden lapse of stupidity I readjusted my math and the 450000 is correct.

450sec * 1000 = 450000.

This then means there is an issue either with the tags being used incorrectly in the profile or the hot spot locations are too close.

Best way for us to try help is for you to provide the bad sub profile area if you do not wish to make public the whole profile.

Post it up if you want us to take a look :p

I'm going to watch it a bit tonight, if it still doesnt appear to be moving around as it should I will post up a sample and see what you guys think.

Nah still seems to be sitting in the same hotspot. I wouldnt say they are close together, they are situated among very distinct groups of mobs, often quite far away from each other.

Sample attached of my usage of the tags.

I havent tried it without the randomise tag, maybe that would make a difference?

A quick test for it would be to remove the blackspots, I imagine that if they surround the hotspot it might restrict you from moving to the others.

I could try make them smaller, but they are only there to stop it running head long into the packs of 4 cultists outside the Alliance Keep. The hotspots are one on each end of the beach directly outside the keep, one in the middle of hearthglen, one up near the blood spores and one over by whiplash strand in the mist, quite spread out and accessible.
