Im new to botting and HB/GB so ive been spending a bit of time on these forums. ive noticed alot of the same langauge used here as other forums do, about using search before posting for example. Of the forums ive been a part of for years I see this alot. I happen to be very knowledgable about certain subjects of these other forums and can see the same old questions asked time and time again.Although i could answer the question or post i just skip by. i figure someone else can get that one and have their moment. At the buddyforums i feel that this situation is handled in a way that borders on rude. I cant see why members with several hundred posts would waste there time with it.
if a noob posts the same old question, suggests an unoriginal idea, or has missed the obvious leave it alone i say.the thread will die. or maybe allow the new members of the buddy community have a discussion amongst them selfs. for me reading "use search" clutters up this place more than a conversation. sometimes the question you didnt pose may have seem answered but not to the person searching either.


also, this is not the case with everyone and every response.not by far. i just seem to feel that the vetrans somtimes can be alil hostile and elitist. i dont mean to ruffle feathers its just an observation.

Prompting someone to search for the answer to their question is much more helpful than just giving them the answer.

So true. If you don't ask a question because you are afraid of being bashed by other members then you will never learn. This could be just me but i've noticed that all the forums i frequently visit have become much more hostile and much less informative.

If you search and find nothing and people tell you off. Just ignore it and go on. People can be assholes on this forum and the mods don't even care sometimes. Yea they put out a post every now and then saying to stop. But it gets annoying if you ask anything people just bash on each other. Like they were never new to botting.

hell i didnt even know how to educate myself within the forums at first,
i had someone in the lobby take the time to IM me.
i agree with this post tenfold.
people shouldnt read a post or take the time to comment unless they are wanting to help.

Well seeing as the mods,"high posters",and everyone and there grandma is getting thrown into this ill throw in my 2 cents i guess...

OK first off to say mods really don't care is way over board and point blank stupid. Why don't you take this scenario as some food for thought. Mod enters forums see's someone getting bashed says lay off him. He then refreshes the page and BOOM BABY theirs 15 more of the same posts. Now there is 10+ sections of this site. Do you propose there is a mod for each one that just refreshes and responds ASAP to every thread?
Another thing i don't understand is people complain how other posters flame them and what not. Yes there are some d-bags running around the forum but hey run around your neighborhood bet you find 5(hell you probably just thought of 3). But when someone tells you "Google is your friend","try the search button",I have a friend named search, type your question in the top right for his help". There simply helping you to become self reliant in the forums and as with anything else because I would gladly listen if you can tell me anyone that has done anything other then take piggy back rides that hasn't searched for answers to there questions themselves.
