The correction for the Desktop Compositing issue is described here Some of the products from the Buddy Store trigger a WoWclient bug that drops FPS. There is apparently some information in the Bliz forums about non-Bot users experiencing this same problem. You can find the post that describes how to isolate an aggravating Buddy Store product here We know of no other causes of FPS problems besides these two at the moment. After you've taken the corrective actions described in the two posts cited above, if you would like us to look into your particular problem, please show us a fresh log. cheers, chinajade
