The Captured Firefly item summons and dismisses Firefly, a firefly companion that follows you around, meaning it is a non-combat pet and will not aid you in battle.
The drop rate of this pet is roughly 0.1% (one in every thousand kills) and takes an incredible amount of patience and determination in order to get one. Due to the difficulty of obtaining one, and thus their rarity, they can sell for fairly large amounts of gold on the Auction House, at least as far as pets are concerned.

<Hotspot X="773.6255" Y="6579.861" Z="21.11029" /> is at the base of a mushroom where it likes to get stuck for 5 seconds or so. No big deal but only pathing issue Ive seen with it so far.

It only happens if your on a mount. If you were to move the spot just 2 feet to the right of where it gets stuck (south on map) it would be fine.

got my first one after 15 mins, got lucky i guess. will let it run for another 3 hours.
 
Mine dropped after one day of farming but Price was under 1k at the AH so i kept it for myself :)
 
i ran this profile all night and didnt happen to get the drop. oh wells but all the green items that had dropped from farming and boe greens alrdy in my bags were vendored. i have the mail recipent set up, what am i doing wrong?
this is the first profile that has casued this to be a problem. now im wondering if the pet did drop but just got vendored? also note, unidentified plant parts didnt get sold.

If you look in the profile you'll see this line:

Code: 
<SellGreen>True</SellGreen>

Which obviously means it will sell your green items. If you want to just save the greens then replace 'True' with 'False' (No quotation marks). If you want to keep them then mail them add the line

<MailGreen>True</MailGreen>
under it
 
You have to replace the Vendor and the Mailbox and then (I think) Alliance could also use it.
 
TKS ,Great Profile,i take it after 2 hours,seel it for 3 k ,a player bought it and sold it for 18 K ,now i'm farm it again=)
 
Hmm. Set it to grind or gather because it seems to act like it want to farm but then again it doesn't want too.
 
Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but for me it's doing nothing but mounting then flying the path, killing nothing.
